Great place for a walk and one of the best views of the Tower Bridge in town. However, it gets pretty empty at night - so if you are creeped out easily you may feel a little unsafe. Street parking isn't too far or hard to find.
The best riverfront park in Sacramento for views of the river, Old Town Sac, and downtown. Perfect for sunset hanging out during the summer. Only thing detracting is that there is a decent amount of duck/goose droppings everywhere so be careful where you step.
